Simple Ways to Control Anger

There are many ways that you can find to control anger, especially if you suffer from a continuous anger that is eating at your life you need to find a way to be able to control it. Anger is a normal feeling that every human being experiences, but an excess of anger is not healthy and sometimes dangerous for you and those around you.
As stated before, there are many ways to be able to control your anger and most of these are completely free and can be practiced even without previous experience. By practicing a little bit every day you will find that with time you can keep your anger under control and will not explode at every little provocation or person.
The first thing you need to learn is relaxation and breathing. You can learn to keep your body relaxed by using meditation; this also helps you to control your breathing. You will find that, when angry, concentrating on your breathing and keeping it under control will slowly reduce the rage you feel because you are not thinking about it, you are thinking about your breathing instead.
Talking to some one is also very helpful when dealing with anger problems. You don't necessarily have to talk to a specialist about your problems if you do not feel comfortable doing so. Speak to a relative or a close friend, it is important that you feel comfortable speaking to this person to be able to get everything off of your chest and therefore feel a lot better and much more relaxed.
Another good method of relieving anger from your body is by writing it down in a book or a diary. Everything you would normally scream or shout at someone, write it down and let everything go on the paper. If writing doesn't work for you, you can try a physical activity such as running or even a martial art that will help you get rid of your anger.
